Tori Bowie, a 32-year-old Olympic track-and-field athlete who won a gold medal in 2016, was found dead in Florida on Tuesday.
Police did not release a cause of death.
Bowie’s management team confirmed her death on Twitter in a post on Wednesday.
“We’re devastated to share the very sad news that Tori Bowie has passed away,” Icon Management said in the statement.
