• A 12-year-old girl shot her father and then herself on Tuesday evening as part of an alleged “murder pact” she made with another girl to kill their families and pets, according to Texas authorities.
• Officers responded to the incident in Weatherford, Texas, at around 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday. When they arrived at the scene, they found the girl lying on the street with a gun wound to the head. A gun was found underneath her body, according to the Parker County Sheriff’s Office.
• When they checked inside her house, they found the girl’s father, 38, with a gunshot to the abdomen.
