Golds Gym Owner Feared Dead In Costa Rica Plane Crash

Among the six passengers reportedly on board the small plane that crashed Frida in Costa Rica is The German fitness-studio tycoon Rainer Schaller, who is the founder and CEO of the RSG Group – which includes the Gold's Gym fitness studios.

  • The private jet was reportedly going from Mexico to Limon, Costa Rica.
  • Among the other passengers reportedly are Schaller’s partner, Christiane Schikorsky, their children and a fitness trainer.
  • Costa Rican authorities said Saturday they found the aircraft wreckage in the ocean about 17 miles from Limon airport.
  • Two bodies have so far been recovered but have yet to identified.
