- Here’s a surprise: CNN’s Don Lemon grilled Arizona’s Democratic gubernatorial candidate Katie Hobbs on her refusal to debate Republican Kari Lake.
- Hobbs also refused to debate her Democratic primary opponent. Now she claims debating Lake would be “a spectacle.”
- Lemon, to his credit, challenged Hobbs: “(Lake) can go in front of the people of Arizona every single day and talk about it, but you’re not confronting her on it. It seems like it would be an easy fix if you sit up on a debate stage and confront her about these issues.”
