The office of Rep. Joe Wilson, R-S.C., says the congressman is in “good spirits” and recovering after having collapsed at an event in Washington, D.C., earlier this week.
“Update: While Congressman Wilson continues to be evaluated by medical staff, he is in good spirits, improving, and speaking with family,” read a statement from the congressman’s account posted Thursday on his official account on the social media platform X.
