Governor Tests Positive For COVID-19

- Kansas Gov. Laura Kelly tested positive for COVID-19 a day after her second inauguration, her office announced Tuesday.
- The 72-year-old governor is dealing with minor symptoms and self-isolating after testing positive on the second day of her second term.
- The days before Kelly’s positive test were filled with activity as she celebrated her inauguration with a ball Sunday night, a ceremony Monday and an executive order signing Tuesday morning. She is reportedly fully vaccinated.
