Grimes is locked in a custody battle with the richest man in the world.
The musical artist took to social media last week to share the difficulties of her dispute with Elon Musk over custody of the pair’s children.
“Spent a year locked in battle in a state with terrible mothers rights having my instagram posts and modeling used as reasons I shouldn’t have my kids and fighting and detaching from the love of my life as he becomes unrecognizable to me,” the singer wrote on the Musk-owned platform X.
Grimes said she had “a fraction of his resources (or iq/ strategy experience), all the while I didn’t see one of my babies for 5 months.”
The “Genesis” singer shares three children with the Tesla co-founder: X Æ A-Xii, 4, Exa Dark Sideræl, 3, and Techno Mechanicus, 2.
“This is only what can be said publicly,” her post went on, “since most of my experience these last years should remain behind closed doors.”
