On Tuesday a federal jury in New York City found former President Donald Trump liable of sexual abuse and defamation and ordered him to pay more than $5 million in damages.

Writer E. Jean Carroll had accused Trump of raping her in a Bergdorf Goodman fitting room decades ago, though Carroll couldn’t recall when the rape happened.

The nine-person jury deliberated three hours before making its decision. The jury consisted of three women and six men.
