‘Harry Potter’ TV Series Likely Coming From Warner Bros

  • There have been years of speculation about the proposed show following the massive success of the film franchise and spinoffs, which raked in upwards of $9.1 billion in revenue.
  • Per Deadline, HBO Max and then-parent company WarnerMedia started discussing a potential “Harry Potter” TV series years ago and appointed Kids, Young Adult and Classics president Tom Ascheim to manage the franchises.
  • This included theme parks, tours, and the “Harry Potter” and “Fantastic Beasts” properties.
