Has DeSantis Peaked Already? Polls Say Yes

  • After two new polls showed former President Donald Trump in a resurgence and beating Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) decisively in a 2024 primary matchup, it isn’t too early to ask if the Florida governor has peaked.
  • While it was DeSantis on the rise earlier this year, the Monmouth University poll just put Trump’s lead at 41%-27%. DeSantis led Trump in that poll as recently as December.
