- Last week Correa had agreed to a 13-year, $350 million contract with the San Francisco Giants, but the team’s doctors red-flagged a medical issue.
- Correa quickly pivoted to the Mets, getting a 12-year, $315 million offer. But now the Mets also have raised concerns about a medical issue, apparently related to Correa’s lower right leg.
