I expect full cooperation from the IRS, particularly with regard to ensuring this whistleblower is protected from retaliation,” Ways and Means Chairman Jason Smith, R-Mo., told IRS Commissioner Danial Werfel at the start of an oversight hearing on the agency’s affairs.
