  • Former chief of the DOJ’s Organized Crime Section, Jim Trusty, said he believes it is unlikely that Hunter will face any charges involving the investigation into alleged money laundering and violation of lobbying laws for his overseas business dealings.
  • Instead, Trusty suggests that Hunter could be charged with minor tax charges and for making false statements from when he bought a handgun in 2018, according to the┬áDaily Mail.
