Hyper-Woke Broadway Show Flops, Closes After Three-Week Run

  • According to creators, Ain’t No Mo’ blended “sketch, satire, avant garde theater, and a dose of drag” while answering a simple question: “What if the U.S. government offered Black Americans one-way plane tickets to Africa?”
  • Despite support from high-profile Black celebrities like Mo’Nique, Tamron Hall, Queen Latifah, and Gayle King, the show will close on December 18th.
