- Actress and talk show host Drew Barrymore fawned over Joe Biden during a Christmas-themed interview for The Drew Barrymore Show.
- “I am so excited and I’m looking back on 2022 with such fondness, and as you’re going into 2023, I just hope for you, for the very best, and I thank you for creating that feeling around for everybody,” she said.
- Barrymore mentioned liberal social issues like the Respect For Marriage Act and the heavily criticized prisoner swamp that saw Brittney Griner’s return from Russian imprisonment, but made no note of inflation, gas prices, or the escalating border crisis.
