IL Gov. Picks Fight With DeSantis, Wants ‘Black Queer American History’ Taught
Looks like the Illinois Governor is trying to use DeSantis to get some attention!

- IL Dem Governor J.B. Pritzker has waded into the latest culture war started with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis’ rejection of an AP African-American studies course that included “Black Queer Theory,” among other topics.
- The course “leaves large, ambiguous gaps that can be filled with additional ideological material, which we will not allow,” DeSantis spokesman Bryan Griffin told CNN.
- “Pritzker, meanwhile, said Illinois expects any AP course focused on African American studies “to include a factual accounting of history, including the role played by black queer Americans,” reported NBC News.
