X owner Elon Musk on Monday night began his much anticipated interview with from President and now 2024 GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump asking about the assassination attempt on him at a July 13 campaign rally in Pennsylvania.
“I didn’t know I had that much blood,” Trump said, of the shooting, while also saying it was the “best alternative you could think about” as he wasn’t more gravely injured.
“I’m a believer, now. I’m more of a believer in God, I think,” Trump said, following the shooting.
Trump did the after being banned for nearly two years following the Jan. 6, 2021, riot of the U.S. Capitol.
