- A Braun spokesperson said the senator is “strongly positioned to win a statewide primary and general election.”
- However, the spokesperson suggested Braun has yet to fully commit, saying he’ll use the holiday season to decide on a prospective campaign.
- Braun, one of the Senate GOP Conference’s most conservative members, earlier this month backed Florida Sen. Rick Scott over Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell to lead conference in the next Congress.
