- According to the White House on Thursday, Iranian troops are “directly engaged on the ground” in Crimea.
- Recently, Iranian-supplied drones, as well as Kalibr and Iskander cruise missiles, have been used by Russia to attack Ukrainian infrastructure and non-military targets.
- National Security Council spokesman John Kirby said, “The information we have is that the Iranians have put trainers and tech support in Crimea, but it’s the Russians who are doing the piloting.”
- Thirty percent of Ukraine’s power stations have been destroyed by Russian forces since October 10, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
