J.K. Rowling Told ‘You’re Next’ After Wishing Rushdie Well After Stabbing

The famous "Harry Potter" author disclosed the apparent threat by posting screenshot of it on social media.

  • “Satanic Verses” author was stabbed multiple times Friday at speech in New York.
  • Warner Bros. Discovery, which has the rights to Potter franchise, condemned the apparent Rowling threat, saying the company supports “freedom of expression.”
  • Rowling says she reported tweet to Twitter and was told “no violations,” though others says Twitter has substantiated that its community guidelines were violated.
