• In a statement obtained by American Greatness on Monday, Dr. Simone Gold revealed that she and Judge Christopher R. Cooper attended Stanford University Law School in the class of 1993, and that she had once declined to go on a date with him. (Gold has degrees in medicine and law.)
• The doctor said she was surprised that Cooper, whom she knew as “Casey,” had not recused himself. But she says she decided, without an attorney present to advise her, that it wouldn’t be a problem.
