• The search for a family of four that was kidnapped in California ended on Wednesday after authorities found their bodies on a rural farm.
• “Tonight, our worst fears have been confirmed,” Merced County Sheriff Vern Warnke said during a news conference Wednesday night. “Horribly, horribly senseless what happened here.”
• Eight-year-old Aroohi Dheri, her parents, Jasleen Kaur, 27, and Jasdeep Singh, 36, and her uncle Amandeep Singh, 39, “were taken against their will from a business” at gunpoint in Merced, California on Monday.
