Kim Tells N. Korea Prepare To Launch Nuclear Attack To Deter War With US-S Korea

  • North Korean leader Kim Jong Un on Monday called for his country to be ready to launch nuclear attacks at any time to deter war – as the U.S. and South Korea conduct joint military drills that Kim says have been expanded to involving American nuclear assets.
  • Kim’s statement is being reported by state media.
  • The remarks came as the isolated country conducted what the news outlet calls exercises Saturday and Sunday to bolsters North Korea’s “war deterrence and nuclear counterattack capability” and to send strong warnings against allies U.S. and South Korea.
