- The political organization founded by the Koch brothers announced in a Tuesday memo they are endorsing Nikki Haley for the 2024 presidential race.
- The endorsement comes as Haley has seen a boost in polls, but former President Donald Trump remains the frontrunner among the 2024 GOP hopefuls.
- Americans for Prosperity Action, founded by David and Charles Koch, said on Tuesday that American politics “are in a downward spiral” and the country needs “better candidates.”
- “Republicans have been nominating bad candidates who are going against America’s core principles. And voters are rejecting them,” the organization wrote, adding that Democrats are responding to GOP weakness by pushing “extreme” policies.
- Both Trump and Biden will continue this downward trend, the group said.
