L.A. Homeless ‘Attendants’ Occupy EV Charging Stations

  • There reportedly are nearly 70,000 homeless people living on the streets of Los Angeles, and one of their favorite new places to set up camp is next to EV charging stations that line some city streets.
  • This effectively has made the charging stations useless because no one would want to park next to these encampments for hours while their cars are charging.
  • “When you live in Los Angeles, it’s better to have a charging station at home for that $60,000 EV. The closer you get to downtown, the charging stations have homeless ‘attendants’ who live on the same sidewalk as the stations,” conservative commentator Alexandra Datig wrote on Twitter.
