• Instagram influencer and golfer Bri Teresi has decided to sever ties with a high-end lingerie company after the brand used a biological male model for an ad campaign.
• The sports media company, OutKick.com, reported April 19 that Teresi had cut ties with Honey Birdette after they posted a photo of self-described “non-binary” model, Jake DuPree, wearing lingerie. The brand that was once known for being made “by women, for women” faced backlash for their photos.
• In the comment section of the post Teresi said, “Sad to see you guys jumping on the woke bandwagon! Once again, another thing taken over by men. Know your audience!” The comments now appear to be disabled.
