The Philadelphia Inquirer has reported a cyber “incident” that disrupted its operations just two days prior to the primary elections in Philadelphia. In response, the news outlet has notified the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) about the incident.
Acknowledging the disruption, Inquirer publisher Lisa Hughes expressed gratitude for the patience and understanding of everyone affected.
Hughes further stated that the Inquirer is actively working to restore its systems and conduct a thorough investigation to resolve the issue promptly.
