- A 40-year-old man from the Detroit area, known for assuming the online identity of a 15-year-old girl to expose potential sexual predators, tragically lost his life in a fatal shooting incident that erupted during a restaurant argument.
- On Saturday, authorities apprehended two individuals, aged 17 and 18, in connection with the slaying of Robert Wayne Lee from Pontiac, as reported by the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office.
- Lee had adopted the pseudonym “Boopac Shakur” on social media as part of his mission to uncover individuals involved in alleged sexual misconduct. His efforts had resulted in the filing of criminal charges against several men, including a jail deputy. However, it should be noted that his work also led to the misidentification of one individual as a sexual predator, as revealed by the sheriff’s office.
