Execs At CNN, Rival Networks Plan Mass Layoffs

  • CNN CEO Chris Licht told staffers during a Tuesday town hall that they should expect layoffs by December.
  • According to one report, Licht has been ordered to cut $100 million from the budget to appease his bosses at Warner Bros. Discovery.
  • Meanwhile, NBCUniversal, ABC News and CBS News also are slashing staff as the economy worsens.
