Melania Trump is unlikely to ever leave her husband Donald Trump, according to a former aide.

Stephanie Grisham shared this insight during a conversation with CNN’s Erin Burnett on Monday, following a day of explosive court proceedings where Michael Cohen, Trump’s former lawyer, testified. Cohen revealed details about the former President’s relationship and Melania’s reactions to his scandals.

But Grisham told CNN that Melania “knew who she married.” The ex-president is currently facing accusations of falsifying business documents prior to the 2016 presidential election.

Allegations suggest he paid off adult actress Stormy Daniels to silence her about an alleged sexual encounter, and former Playboy model Karen McDougal over an alleged 10-month affair. Trump denies all allegations of affairs, any sexual relations with Ms Daniels and Ms McDougal, and claims the charges against him are politically motivated.

Grisham added: “Could Melania Trump be angry right now about all of this being out there and about their personal lives and it’s humiliating? Absolutely on a personal level.”

During the trial, Trump’s ex-lawyer and fixer, Michael Cohen, took the stand and testified. Cohen claimed that when it came to an alleged affair surfacing, Trump seemed nonchalant about Melania, his wife’s reaction, being more worried about the campaign. Cohen shared that Trump reassured him, saying: “Don’t worry,” and followed by asking, “How long do you think I’ll be on the market for? Not long.”
