Melania Trump is ready to tell her story.
The former model and spouse of Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump is gearing up for the release of her memoir “Melania,” which will offer a candid look at her journey from the runway to the Oval Office.
The memoir is set for an Oct. 8 release, according to Skyhorse Publishing.
Trump teased the book’s unflinching honesty in a social media post Saturday with a video that alluded to the FBI’s search of her Mar-a-Lago home in August 2022. Trump shares the Palm Beach, Florida, residence with husband and former President Donald Trump.
“I never imagined my privacy would be invaded by the government here in America,” said Trump, who was born in Slovenia. “This is not just my story. It serves as a warning to all Americans, a reminder that our freedom and rights must be respected.”
Federal agents searched the Trumps’ Mar-a-Lago residence at the time as part of an investigation into allegations Donald Trump removed classified documents from the White House when he left office. The criminal case against the former president was dismissed in July.
