A Michigan man knows how to pick up his pace.
Nathan Martin, 36, clinched a photo finish win at the 41st Los Angeles Marathon on Sunday. He secured the closest finish in the race’s history and marked the second consecutive year an American man has won the event.
Martin completed the 26.2-mile course in 2 hours, 11 minutes, 18 seconds. He narrowly overtook Kenya’s Michael Kamau. He earned second place with an identical time.
