• A migrant who had been staying in New York City’s new migrant shelter in Brooklyn tried to commit suicide on Tuesday, authorities said.
• The 26-year-old asylum seeker was found with self-inflicted stab wounds in one of the bathrooms at the city’s new intake center in the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal at around 2:15 p.m., reported the New York Post.
• According to sources, the migrant used a shaving razor to cut his forearm. He was rushed to Lutheran hospital, where he is in stable condition.
