More Busloads Of Migrants From Texas Arrive At VP’s Residence

  • Abbott and other GOP governors have for weeks and months been busing migrants to liberal U.S. cities to alleviate some of the burden their resident have undertaken to provide for those who have crossed the southern U.S. border this year in record numbers.
  • The first bus of migrants to the vice president’s residence in Washington, D.C., arrived Thursday.
  • Already Abbott and fellow GOP governors have sent migrants to such liberal-leaning cities and towns as Chicago, New York City and Massachusetts’ Martha’s Vineyard to also make a point that the country’s immigration problems are not just local or regional.
