- New Twitter owner Elon Musk brought in independent journalist Bari Weiss to help report on “The Twitter Files,” the documents detailing censorship by the company under the previous ownership.
- Musk and Weiss have had a bit of a falling out over the past 24 hours, after Musk issued 7-day suspensions who were doxxing members of his family.
- Weiss said this looked like the “whims and biases” of the “old regime at Twitter” that routinely suspended journalists and others on the platform.
- That didn’t sit well with Musk, who fired back, “What should the consequence of doxxing someone’s real-time, exact location be? Assume your child is at that location, as mine was.”
