Rival players fighting has been largely limited to the NHL, but it appears to be occurring more frequently in other sports with beefs this past weekend in NASCAR, Major League Baseball and the National Basketball Association.
On Sunday, in an NBA playoff game between the Phoenix Suns and Denver Nuggets, star Nuggets player Nikola Jokic tried to retrieve an out-of-bounds ball in a close game, but Suns owner Mat Ishbia wouldn’t give it to him.
Jokic appears to shove Ishbia in response, which resulted in him getting a technical foul.
