NBC Universal CEO Jeff Shell Resigns After Internal Investigation, Admitting Inappropriate Relationship

  • “I had an inappropriate relationship with a woman in the company, which I deeply regret,” Shell, who is married, said in the post. “I’m truly sorry I let my Comcast and NBC Universal colleagues down.”
  • Comcast said the corporation and Shell “mutually agreed” that he should leave but that his departure was “effective immediately.”
