• Bill Cosby is facing his second California sexual assault lawsuit due to a temporary lift on the statute of limitations.
• Model Victoria Valentino filed her suit against Cosby on Thursday, alleging that she was raped by the comedian in 1969. While the state allows for minor victims of sexual assault to file lawsuits up until the age of 40 or within five years of learning of the assault, Valentino’s suit is allowed under the state’s temporary “lookback” provision, which allows anyone to file suit no matter how long it has been as long as they file before the end of this year. New York had a similar law with a window that closed last year.
