It’s become a lucrative business and appears to be growing by the year as Americans spend billions annually on a very controversial website — OnlyFans.
OnlyFans is a website where content creators can share various forms of content, primarily videos and photos, with users for money. And while the site offers a wide variety of content, it is primarily known for the adult material that its creators share.
While certainly controversial, there’s no denying the money that residents across the country are spending on the website. This past year alone, Americans spent a total of $2.63 billion on OnlyFans, according to a new report from OnlyGuider, which built a financial model to determine which cities and states were paying the most money to OnlyFans creators.
Also, to make it fair, OnlyGuider broke down each state and city’s spending per 10,000 people to determine which residents were spending the most money.
Using that metric, the national average per 10,000 people was $77,334 spent, or roughly a little over $7 per person per year. And while that may not seem like much, when broken down on a per-city basis, these figures seem more substantial.
