Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-CA) is calling on Canadians to visit California as President Donald Trump strains United States-Canada relations with tariffs and strict border enforcement.
On Monday, Newsom released a video on social media expressing how his state and Canada have “always shared so much in common,” instructing Canadians not to let Trump “ruin” their beach plans.
