Newspapers Cancel ‘Dilbert’ Over Creator Scott Adams’ Racial Remarks

- USA Today announced that it would stop publishing the “Dilbert” cartoon after comments about black people from the creator went viral on social media.
- Scott Adams had become a nationwide trending topic after he said that videos of black people beating white people had convinced him that whites should not help black people or live in communities with a large percentage of black people.
- “That’s a hate group and I don’t want to have anything to do with them,” said Adams while citing a poll that said many blacks disagreed with the statement that “It’s OK to be white.”
