- NFL owners didn’t take kindly to Troy Vincent, the league’s executive vice president of football operations, comparing the scouting combine to a “slave auction” at a meeting Wednesday.
- Two owners, in particular, were quick to rebuke Vincent – Cowboys owner Jerry Jones and Falcons owner Arthur Blank.
- Blank “took umbrage with the idea that he was either taking part in or helping to prop up an event that could be considered racist.”
