NFL Replacing Pro Bowl With Skills Comp, Flag Game
National Football League said Monday that starting next year its annual Pro Bowl game will be replaced with a week-long skills competition and a flag football game

- The new event will take place in Las Vegas and is being called “The Pro Bowl Games” – replacing the traditional tackle football game with competitions between the AFC and NFC all starts.
- The competitions will conclude with a Feb. 5 game of flag football at the home of the Las Vegas Raiders team.
- The NFL is part of a collective trying to get flag football added to the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.
- The number of TV viewers of the game is declining; the last Pro Bowl, held opposite the Beijing Olympics, and was the least-watched in 16 years.
