NFL Team’s Plane Makes Emergency Landing In Kansas City

  • A spokesperson for the Steelers took to social media to reassure that all passengers on the plane were unharmed. The team is presently organizing the necessary arrangements to ensure their return to Pittsburgh later in the day.
  • Various Pittsburgh-based media outlets reported that the emergency landing occurred at KCI Airport at approximately 3:55 a.m. Central Time, prompted by concerns regarding oil pressure in one of the aircraft’s engines. Firefighting units were deployed to assess the Airbus A330-900, as confirmed by Pittsburgh’s CBS affiliate, KDKA, which had a news crew present on the flight.
