NHL Hockey Legend Dead At 84

  • Hockey Hall of Famer Bobby Hull, affectionately known to fans as “The Golden Jet,”  has died at the age of 84, the NHL Alumni Association announced on social media Monday.
  • The legendary NHL player was an icon in hockey history, and was highly esteemed as one the greatest hockey players in the sport. Hull played for the Chicago Blackhawks and Harford Whalers and for the World Hockey Association’s Winnipeg Jets over the course of his 23-year career in the sport, according to CTV News.
  • “The NHL Alumni Association is deeply saddened to learn that Bobby Hull has passed away at the age of 84,” the association wrote on Twitter. “Bobby began his NHL career with the @NHLBlackhawksin 1957. He would go on to play 15 seasons with the team, one season with Winnipeg, and another with Hartford, amounting to 1,063 regular-season games.”
