• According to police, a black car that had been seen in the area parked in the middle of the block, then multiple gunmen exited the vehicle and fired about 40 shots into a crowd of people on the sidewalk.
• The victims were taken to Temple University Hospital.
• “We have some brazen people in this city that don’t care,” said First Deputy Commissioner John Stanford with the Philadelphia Police Department. “They don’t care how many police officers are out here. And some of them don’t care how many people are out here. We continue to do what we need to do to get these individuals in custody.”
