NM Judge Ousts County Commissioner Over His J6 Role

  • A New Mexico judge removed Couy Griffin, founder of Cowboys for Trump, from his position as an Otera county commissioner.
  • District Judge Francis Mathew’s ruling also prohibits Griffin from running from holding any elected office in the future.
  • Griffin is the first elected official to be removed from office for his role in the J6 Capitol riot.
