Americans’ confidence in the presidency as a whole has plunged 15 percentage points over the past year to a record low, according to a new poll released on Tuesday.

In an ominous sign for President Joe Biden, confidence in his presidency dropped to 23% from 38% in 2021. That’s less than a quarter of Americans.
