NYC Announces Plan To Put Cameras In Every Subway Car – All 6,400

- The Metropolitan Transportation Authority plans to install two cameras in each train car, with project expected to take three years to complete.
- “You think Big Brother’s watching you on the subways? You’re absolutely right,” the Democrat governor said.
- New York City’s subway system already has over 10,000 security cameras in its 472 stations.
- But the platform cameras failed to record video of the person who shot 10 people in April on a subway train in Brooklyn.
