NYC Considers Housing Illegal Immigrants In Famous Prison

New York City is purportedly contemplating the utilization of Rikers Island prison to accommodate illegal immigrants from the southern border, following the end of available shelter space within the city.

Sources disclosed that officials are deliberating on this idea as a “last-ditch site” for migrant housing, as the Big Apple continues to witness a daily influx of hundreds of new arrivals, as the New York Post reported.

Mayor Eric Adams, when questioned about the prospect of using the active jail as a migrant shelter, acknowledged that “we are considering everything,” underscoring the gravity of the ongoing crisis.
